Dear Doctor,
Assalammu alaikum(varah..)

I am 16 weeks pregnant(started 16 weeks) can u please tell me, when i
can hear my baby's heart beat and how? and also the kicks of him at
which week. this is my first baby, i dont have any support or advice
to give, since i am with my husband in UK, without having any parental
support. i am little bit worried, since i feel normal and my belly is
not big enough to deliver the message that i am pregnant. sometimes i
have slight pain like feeling for the past 4 or 5 days. can u please
help me to know how will be the feeling of my small one's heart beat
and kicks.

You will probably not be able to feel your childs heartbeat but movement yes
after the 3rd month of pregnancy usually.The most important thing to do is to
have an antenatal check up by your doctor/preferably a Gynaecologist who will do
a thorough check up to make sure that your pregnancy is normal and even if there
is going to be any problem there should be a planned intervention.
Pregancy is a normal physiological process but it can turn into a dangerous
pathological event.
