Hello My name is Rebecca and i have some questions on bone marrow.
1. if it were to get into your heart could you Die?
2. does marrow have any kind of instent diesease once it hits either a
liver,your heart?
thats all i have to ask plz get back to me.

Dear Rebecca,

Bone marrow consist mainly immature blood cells.If the clumps of bone marrow
material get dislodged into the blood vessels, just like any particulate
material get dislodged in the bloodstream there may be dire consequences eg.the
blood clots inside the blood vessel-this is called thrombosis.Some of this clot
could be detached and get stuck in the smaller downstream blood vessels-this is
called embolus.Thrombosis and Embolus can block the flow of blood to the organs
eg;brain-strke will happen, heart-heart attack will happen, kidneys-kidney
malfunction will happen, legs-the distal part of the legs will turn blue and
then gangrene which might require amputation.
