I am due to have my son jan 2nd. My doctor is going to be tieing my
tubes after I have a c section that day. I am 22 and have a Uterus
Didelphys. He said it would be best. This will be my second kid. I
don't want it done, but I already signed the papers the doctor said it
is best for my future to have it done. IF I don't have it done and get
pregnant again it could kill me and my next child. He said it would
rupture my uterus and I and the child will die. Do you think this is
best to tie my tubes.

Dear Jenny,

This is really about risk management.You should do a back ground check of this
condition and discuss the risk with you Gynaecologist.Since this is a big
decision on your part you could even get a second opinion from other
Gynaecologist.To me if the risk is overwelming(perhaps >30% chance) then it is
so logical for you to go ahead with tubal ligation which is theoritically
reversible anyway.
