Hi, I am a 46 yr female.Had total hysterectomy (leaving ovaries)on
June 29th. July 7th had infection in incision, dr. prescribed Keflex
for 5 days. Had low grade fever continually so had CT on 5th week post-
op. Diagnosed with probable puss pockets or blood pockets so put on
Augmentin for 10 days. After 8th week, still fever and very painful,
another CT was done and found blood clot in vein near ovary. Dr.
prescribed Lovenox and Coumadin. Now on 9th week - still VERY painful
but PT is at 25 and INR is 2.4 so discontinue Lovenox shots 2x's daily
and continue with coumadin.
When will i feel better and when will the pain go away. I am REALLY
scared and something doesn't feel right. My abdomen is in a lot of
pain and don't feel any better yet. I need help but don't feel the
doctor is correct. Could something else be wrong? Pain is on both
sides but mostly left side where blood clot is.
I could really use a good doctor. I live in Seattle,Washington USA
