Hi Dr Hamid,
I am a 26 year old woman who has been having unprotected sex with my husband
for about a year and a half now. When I ovulate, I have sharp pain on either
side, and that's how I know that I've ovulated. I chart my cycles online and
they have been pretty accurate. I always feel ovulation pain when the online
chart says to expect it. This month I ovulated around April 1st, and on April
6th I had yet again what felt like ovulation pain. I'm assuming this could be
implantation pain? Well, from that day on I had sharp to dull intermediate
cramping in my pelvic area and a medium grade low back ache. I've had a few days
of sore heavy breasts, but that has since subsided. I am due to start my cycle
tomorrow, and have had some brown spotting yesterday and today, with today being
more than yesterday. I usually start this kind of spotting a few days before I
start my period, however I've never had cramping 5 days after ovulation, I've
never had this cramping for over a week, with unrelenting back pain. I don't
want to assume that this could be pregnancy only, if there could be something
else. I appreciate any knowledge you could give me regarding this.
Thanks!
Nickel
Hi Nickel,
there are many conditions that can occur while you are having periods.if your
"abnormal" symptoms persist like this;there could be other possibilities;other
problems in the uterus, colonic problem, acute appendicitis or even urine
infections.
you need to be checked by your doctor soon
cheers
