Hello,
iam 18 years old and i have been experiencing stinging pain in my
left breast.
its just an ON and OFF pain that comes randomly it use to be in both
of my breasts then it dissapeared and become only in my left one.
before couple of days i felt thickning in my left nipple on the upper
side and just last night it dissapered! the pain also comes with
stinging on where the heart is sometimes, now i dont really feel the
thickning in my breast that much, my mother keeps telling me that i
sleep in a wrong way and also have to mention that i feel backache (i
dont know if its my way in sleeping or sitting on the computer much)
it all started when i use to wear a *very* push up bra and i use to
sleep in it as well i dont do that anymore so i stay braless most of
the time (except when i go out, all my bra's are push ups)
I complained about it to everyone and they think its just gas and
some thought that it was my way in sleeping but iam very concerned
that it could be breast cancer though i dont have a history of it.
Please answer my question as fast as you can as iam very worried any
information would be useful i dont know whats wrong with me.

Pain in the breast in young people is quite common. Most of the time, there is
no known cause and the treatment is just to take painkillers.It is also useful
to have an ultrasound done to make sure there is infection,inflammation or
rarely even tumour in the breast.
