I believe I'm about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. I'm not planning on keeping
the baby, but I think I might have miscarried. How do I really know.
I've been taking vit c and black cohosh in hopes it will work. I've had
some small spotting, and when I douce the plastic applicator come out
with some blood and mucus looking stuff. I've had major cramps and
lower back pain but on the sides not in the mid-section.

You may have partially aborted from your description.The only sure way to
determine this is to have an ultrasound of your abdomen which should be done by
your Gynaecologist who may have to perform Dilatation and Curettage to
completely treat you.
