Good Morning, Keith, Please send me any info you have, I am trying to
get my hands on as much as I can, thankfully the Internet has some good
info, but there is nothing like hearing from another AA victim. THANKS,

Mary

the classic symptom of arachnoiditis is the burning sensation. It is
important to understand why you get the pain where you do but the
short answer is that essentially it has nothing to do with your
arachnoiditis. I also had similar off and on for about 2 years and
not for the past 10 years. I think that basically you get unusual
symptoms like the pins and needles most often as your body checks
itself out.

Do you understand why you get pain with arachnoiditis and why it
feels like you are on fire and why normal pain medication is
worthless?

Having just recently joined the group I am not sure how many times
these things have been discussed and if everybody understands these
things and it would bore people to tears to go over it again, I can
just send it to you if you are interested.I would need your e-mail
and I am not sure I have it in the headers of this e-mail.

When I first developed arachnoiditis in 1992, there was NOTHING on
the internet and I was part of the first discussion group via Johns
Hopkins. There was a group that offered some pamphlets in England but
they didn't respond when I send the money they asked for for info and
there was one in the US that was apparently dead or non functioning
as I never heard back from them.

Regards

Keith Pendlebury
