I do not know if anyone is interested, but I have made a deal with
the Backsaver company to get some closeouts of their Alpha zero
gravity chair. If you are interested contact me privately. On the
other hand, I am thankful for all of you who have offered advice in
getting the disability. I have also met with a couple of
attorneys. The general consensus is that you need to have your
doctor or doctors write notes that match up with the ssd code.
Section 1.04 talks about Arachnoiditis specifically. You should get
your doc to write a letter mirroring the code stating you are
disabled. That letter alone will get you very far in the process
and get you a good chance of getting through on your first try.
Many attorneys and people exagerate the decline rate on the first
application. It is actually 65% on the first app, and over 90% on
the appeal. I guess they feel if they declined you on the first app,
you definately should be declined on your appeal. Othose who get to
a hearing with an attorney, over 90% are approved. By then they
have weeded out the people who are not really deserving I guess.
Unfortunately, they have also cost those who are deserving, but have
been turned down nearly everything they have by then also. I am
still looking for someone who has had a pump for several years. I
would really like to talk about it.
I hope everyone hasa pain free week and God bless
Brent
