Believe me, I know it is hard. But, the last thing you need to do is lose
control. I have found that more than anything the pain and frustration has
changed my personality. I am definitely not the same person I was 20 years ago.
Just try to be calm and make calm decisions.

can I do in the meantime? They insist I need to go back to work, to at least
"try"---for the fourth time! Easy for them to say. They aren't the ones in
agony for the next two weeks. When is "this is not working out" going to hit
them, too? It's certainly registering in my brain!

but didn't give me a satisfactory answer re: what to do in the meantime, all
because I haven't signed some sort of lawyer release form yet. Geez, I'll
travel the 50 miles again just to sign the darn thing, but nooooo, the light
bulb puts it in the mail. Why don't they do this stuff when you're there? Why
do they have to give you time to "think" about it? I already have, that's why I
showed up at your office! And, why didn't he mention this when I was AT his
office?

atleast then you would be able to file unemployment.
