Hello I have just joined this group and would very much like to hear
from other people with AA who live in the UK, particularly London and
the SE
I had AA diagnosed about 3 years ago since when I have steadily gone
down hill, weakness ++ walk only with crutches, spasticity, bladder and
bowel problems and, it goes without saying, pain.
I think I have been lucky because I had a myelogram a very long time
ago and have had a full active working life - the AA only revealed
itself after a failed Gynae op.
But I am receiving a new treatment which is really helping and would
like to discuss this with people in London and SE because it may be
that the drug co would initiate a trial for AA people
