Hi Nicola,
I wonder, whether others here have the same problem: when I'm afraid of a
situation and tap for it beforehand, I often find myself thinking of the
most remote things that might happen (and being afraid of them) and finding
so many things that sometimes I just give up on the whole situation:-(. On
the other hand, if I don't think so much about the situation beforehand, and
do only a few rounds of tapping and think about looking forward to that
situation (provided it is one that I want to experience), I do much better,
because it usually the situation turns out much less frightening than I
feared before (something that you mentioned in your book "Life without panic
attacks", too). What am I doing wrong? Isn't it good to "collect" all things
that can go wrong in an anticipated fearful situation and tap for them? Or
do I make it worse by that?
Thank you very much in advance!
And, Nicola, I think it's a good idea to plan at least one activity a day
that you love! I won't join you in this plan, because I'm doing it anyway,
sometimes perhaps too many activities I love (and they don't give me any
fear). And this ecstatic heights - I experience them a lot, but I'm also a
bit afraid of them - I'm just realizing that that is something to tap on!
A happy new year to everyone here on this list!
