RE: [Anxiety-Help-With-Nicola] Michelle

Hi Kate

I'm glad cutting the sugar helps. I'm pretty sure that it can help for those
suffering from depression. The problem is (and i don't think that this is
confined to the UK) we simply don't have doctors or researchers that will
actually put all this information toghether. they are still dishing out
drugs to treat problems as they occur and are not looking a t what causes
lots of our ailments. I don't like to rant about it but there are so many
excellent nutritionists that have known about these things for such a long
time, but unfortunately there's no profit in medical research and
development of this kind of understanding! It will come in time i'm sure but
it does seem ridiculous. Even the discovery about high dose fish oils and
its profound effect on MS, Alzheimer's, depression and other conditions has
only created a vague murmur in the medical community. Stunning.

We have a program over here called 'you are what you eat' and the
nutritionist radically changes people's diets over an eight week period and
the changes in mood, weightloss, motivation, energy, focus and well-being
are nothing short of miraculous by everyday standards. I think we could all
do with a good overhaul. I know i could :)

Warmest regards,

Duncan
