Hi,


The city in which I live has witnessed torrential rains of worst kind. For 3
days people were held hostage by the rains. Nearly 400 people in my city have
died. In part of the city the death toll is 63. In my state the death toll is
1000. In the rural areas..the entire towns have been engulfed by the water..it
is unimaginable..

The rains started all so suddenly..and started getting big on everybody. no one
had any time to react..and even before we could react..all the trasport systems
went down..people were stuck..they had to walk in neck deep water some even for
15 hours. I had to walk in 4 feet water.. before i could reach to the safe
point.

I was lucky to have survived..and to have lived through the horrowing
experience..

I have no words to describe the images and the incidents. dont want to depress
you all.



Its raining in many parts of the state and floods have gulped down entire
villages.

Please pray for the city of mumbai and the state of maharashtra.

Plesase light a candle if you can..and send some love to all those who have lost
their lives or means of livelihood.

I would also like to request for prayers for my family and me. It seems selfish
but I would appriciate any light, love coming my way. Thank You.
