Hi Nicola,

A very happy New Year to you, too!! I had a good New Year's Eve with all my
English relatives who had come to see us here in Germany. Although I had some
sad moments last night, too, because of my husband's death in March 2004. But
EFT helps with all these grief feelings, too.

I haven't been able to properly start working with your new e-book yet, but I
definitely will soon, too. But I've made some progress relating my panic attacks
nonetheless, because I had some situations, where I knew I'd have a panic attack
(and therefore had avoided such a situation so far). But I worked through the
situation in my mind, like you said in your article, applying EFT, and then did
the situation without any problems!! This happened with two situations (or
rather places I had to go to). Also, I found out now that one situation I had
wanted to tackle with EFT nearly two years ago, but where my panic actually grew
worse, probably got worse, because I didn't continue to tap... I had stopped
tapping too soon (and it might have been a too big step anyway - I'm doing much
better with slowly "working" my way up, doing one step after another).

Happy New Year to everyone on this list!!
Love, Angi

Greetings to everyone on this fine new day of 2005!

I woke this morning for the sunrise, thought it would be a good way to
start the new year and although I didn't actually see the sun because
of the cloud cover there were some beautiful colours on the horizon and
patches of extraordinary lightness and I knew the sun was there, doing
its thing, even though I couldn't see it and that made me think of how
it was when I was recovering from panic attacks.

Seeing glimpses of hope and using those, knowing the sun really was
shining there behind those fragile wispy clouds that looked so solid
and grey, I just couldn't see it quite yet.

I hope everyone coped well through what can be a stressful time even
for people who don't consider themselves especially anxious.

I know I would have got myself tied up in knots without EFT in the last
week. Trying to keep everyone happy is not easy and I ended up paying
the price for not being able to speak up for myself, something I have
definitely promised myself to work on this year, that and learning to
create very firm boundaries.

I'm not sure quite how I am going to achieve this yet but small steps,
one at a time, seems to be a good idea. I have already tapped for

Even though I can't say what I want to say for fear of upsetting
people...

Has anyone else made any resolutions?

Best wishes and bright clear sea breezes to all,

Nicola
