I believe that allergies were causing my daughter, Sheila to display traits of Autism, which she was diagnosed with in May of 2000. Through NAET I found out that Sheila's gut and brain where effected by many of the viruses from the vaccinations. Any substance that is causing a negative reaction in the body can be called an allergy. I believe that many forms of Autism and many other disorders are caused by allergies. Sheila started NAET on 6-19-00, and went 3x a week for 5 months. Though NAET I found that Sheila was allergic to just about everything. With NAET all allergies are removed permanently. I believe that since she completed her NAET treatments she is on the road to a full recovery. She has made such progress I believe that she is no longer Autistic! Her therapists were amazed by her progress after she started NAET. Autistic children do not all of the sudden just stop lining up objects everyday, tactile problems do not just disappear, stimming does not just decrease dramatically overnight. Before NAET she had 8 words. She now speaks in sentences and plays appropriately. She is in the highest functioning class of her school, which is for children diagnosed with autism ages 2-5 yrs old. She will turn 4 yrs old this month (April 2002)and has been attending since she was 2 1/2 yrs old. I believe that it is possible for us to find the answers though our bodies, and that the power to heal comes from within us. I believe that Dr. Devi was truely blessed with this wonderful gift that will help us get our children back. If NAET is done correctly it will work.
