1.Letter from the editor

In light of the New York City and pentagon bombings I felt
obligated to add an Letter from the editor. Our hearts
are with the New York City citizens and we want to let
the fire fighters and Police and all other rescuers
that we are thinking of them. We are also praying for the
families who are missing family and friends. For those
asthmatics and allergy people in the New York City area
and the Washington D.C. area I wanted to make you aware of
the potential of being triggered by this.It may not be in
your home town but the dust and smoke will travel by air.
If you are anywhere close to the area some precautionary
measures that may help. Take extra Allergy medication or
herbs whatever you are taking for your allergies until the
smoke and dust settle.Wear a dust mask until the smoke and
dust settle.Keep all windows closed. Make sure you have a
purifier or hepa running in your house. Buy a central air
unit air filter that is an allergen filter.Stay indoors as
much as possible. If you must go outside for whatever
reason I have found that taking your inhaler or extra
medication before going out in the stuff might help.
I have found by experience it can make a diffrence to
stop it before it starts. You have to be aware that all
of the rescue vehicles will throw up dust for a while.
An dust mask is almost a sure necessity even if you
don't see the dust cloud like what was seen the other
day. Take a shower after returning in from the outdoors
and wash the smoke and dust off of you. If you have a
laundry room that is sealed off from the rest of the
house to keep your dirty clothes in would help.
