Wow! Congrats on the diet success! Daily exercise is a real challenge for
me. I am taking baby steps. Right now losing to my target weight is the
priority, adding exercise comes next. My plan is to use Richard Hittleman's
Yoga 28 Day Exercise Plan. It's really cool and eases you into fitness as
well as promises a loss of ten pounds at the end of the 28 days just from
following the 28 day program. It has photos and walks you through each
pose, which is added to as well as varied each day of the 28 until you end
up limber and with the memory of enough yoga poses to do different complete
routines of your choice from then on that are more advanced. I have done it
before and it worked for me because it's something I can do at home once per
day in the house and it is easy and leaves me feeling good about myself,
relaxed, and energized at the same time.
Anyway, that will be the next step in my fitness/health plan. I do like to
ride bikes and the bike path here in Homer was completed about a month ago.
I've had so many visitors I haven't taken advantage of it and have only used
it once. But it is part of my future plans next summer because I love
riding bikes. My hubby wants to buy a stationary bike stand that you can
sit your real bike on and pedal in the house and I think that will be phase
3 once I've completed the 28 day yoga plan. I will then move into regular
bike pedaling (indoors) and continue doing a daily yoga routine. THEN if it
ever snows, we hope to cross-country ski in the heart of winter.
All for now folks! Yeah, btw, I do think SB adds good carbs sooner than
Atkins. Actually it keeps good carbs in from the beginning whereas Atkins
puts you on relatively NO carbs for the first wekk or two (20grams only!)
So all you can eat is protein and maybe a small serving of green beans or
some green vegetable.
All for now.
Didn't eat much today. Didn't feel hungry all day. Had a wonderful tomato
based seafood soup for dinner and am making myself a cup of hot tea about
now.
