Well since you know you can't drive into Denali (and that is where we
are planning this trip for) you must take the bus in. Back country
campers buy a camper bus ticket, regular people just buy a regular bus
ticket. Same price, same type of bus but the camper bus has rear most
seats taken out for gear storage of those going to camp in the back
country. And the nice part is they are normally less crowded, have less
toursity type of people on them. So you take the bus in and get out at
your section which you choose when you apply for your back country
permit the day before (or of, if you are not too picky about where you
go). So you can buy a bus ticket, you don't have to get off. Just go
for the ride.
