- Proje, Kasim 1999’da Istanbul Universitesi Ceviri Bolumu onculugunde bir grup gonullu cevirmenin afet kosullarinda rehber cevirmenlik egitimleri ile basladi
- 2000 ve 2010 yillari arasinda Istanbul ve Ankara ve Izmir'de toplam on gruba 90 saatlik temel egitim verildi
- Nisan 2001’de Ceviri Dernegi’nin çatisi altinda Istanbul Valiligi ile imzalanan protokolle Afet Hazirlik Plani’na dahil oldu
- Universitelerin en az 10 kisiden olusacak oncelikle ceviri ve dil bolumlerine ait gonullulerden olusacak gruplara egitim destegi vererek projenin yayginlastirilmasi amaclanmaktadir
