Welcome to AAH! We are a group of Victims, Survivors, and Advocates of DV that are working together to not only offer each other support, but to do something to help end DV. We as Survivors need to put our foot forward and work together as a United Movement to end DV. We are 1,000's strong, if anyone can stop it, we can.

We really do have a great group of Women, and the support is always here for many We have so many Women from so many backgrounds of DV, please, once you've joined, take some time to look over the posts and respond to any that you may feel a connection with! Please understand that this is a support group and we cannot help in emergencies. We can also not do therapy, for those purposes, please contact your nearest DV Organization. We are NOT here to judge, but to help Victims in their struggles with DV and help them safely obtain freedom from abuse, and we are here to help Survivors continue on their road to healing.

The only things we ask from our new members are: 1) please change your address to something that your abuser wouldn't know or can't follow. Please, don't use your real name but a false name to get this address so you can't be found by your abuser. If you need to change your address and you are already a member, please let us know. 2) Please write an introduction letter. This introduction letter will be sent to the group as your introduction to them once your membership has been approved. With these 2 things that we ask will help insure the safety of our members. Please include the type of DV you have gone through or are going through, how long you have been out, and what you would like to get out of our group. In this way, our members will be better able to help support you and also relate to you as well.
