Hi there! I'm a new member to this group (and to yahoo, so bare with me). I'm a
23 year old female. I've had MS since June of 2005, so I just celebrated my 2
year anniversary. It's only been a couple of years, but I've already had some
major battles with MS. So far I've had 3 exacerbations and recently my first
relapse of old symptoms. My most prominent symptoms are weakness on my right
side, balance trouble, vertigo, fatigue, optic neuritis, hearing loss, and
cognitive trouble.
I am still able to work full time. In fact, I've turned MS education into a
career. I was in my last quarter of college when I had my first disabling attack
and was diagnosed. For months after I was diagnosed, while I was on the hunt for
any info about MS, but this was always my main stop:

After I recovered, I decided that I'd put my writing skills toward the best
possible cause (empowerment of MS patients) and was soon hired by
HealthTalk.com. We are an independent, non-promotional patient education
company. We host monthly MS shows, we have an MS blog, patient videos, an Ask
the Doctor column and tons more. If any of you are interested, you should check
it out and sign up for the newsletter I write:

I'd love to hear more about the websites you guys like to visit for MS info. I
don't know about you, but I like to learn everything I can. I like having an
idea of what my neuro will say in my next appointment.
Anyway, it's great to be here. I can't wait to get to know you all :)
