Tysabri is the new name for what used to be called (when it was in trials)
Antegren. Yes, the results do look good. As I understand it, the Tysabri +
Avonex results are even better than you said, since those are the results, not
compared to nothing, but compared to Avonex alone. If you do the math, it comes
out, again, to around a 2/3 reduction. My big question at this point is how well
it works on secondary-progressive patients. Personally, I think if I were a
clear-cut relapsing-remitting patient, I'd already be talking to my neurologist
about jumping from Avonex/Betaseron/Copaxone/Rebif.
