MS is sometimes hard to diagnose, and people always talk about alternative
diagnosis. It is hard to wade through, but here is a great discussion of all the
other ailments that get confused with MS.

Ask to get tested for everything. Lyme's, B-12 levels etc.

If you have MS, before you decide on treatment options, be aware that there is
an FDA approved drug, naltrexone, that many MSers are using with great
success. It is generic, so costs about $15/mo. My neurologist has submitted the
first clinical trial proposal for testing this drug for MS, and a hypothesis has
been accepted for publication in Journal of Medical Hypotheses on its method of
action.
