I wanted to run something by the group to see if anyone has had the
same reaction or rather lack of action from using Detrol LA.
I was given Detrol LA to combat the urinary frequency problems I've
been having. I have to go to the bathroom to urinate about once an
hour during waking hours and about every 2 - 2 1/2 hours at night. I
even did a voiding log for 2 weeks to be sure. I was shocked to see
how many times I go!
Needless to say I don't get much sleep being awaken several times
during the night. The last time I slept for 5 hours in a row was 4
months ago. I was hoping the medication, Detrol LA would help me. My
physical therapist (who has been on it) said to give it some time to
work but it's been almost 3 months since I started on it. I would
think if it was going to work it would have by now right? I take 4mg
at bedtime.
