Information on how to access care and treatments for HIV, chronic hepatitis and other health conditions. This group is run by the Community Advisory Board of The Network, an organization founded in 1988 to assist people to access services and resources, primarily for HIV disease and AIDS. The group has a much wider focus, including diabetes, liver health, nutrition, mental health, heart disease and and other issues that the CAB or any other members of this group would like to discuss. Anyone interested in joining is invited. To prevent unwanted messages and advertisements for products, the group is moderated.
The Network is a not-for-profit organization. In addition to our national treatment and care access and counseling program, The Access Project (http://www.atdn.org/access/index.html), We provide case management as well as treatment adherence support for people with HIV/AIDS, as well as those co-infected with hepatitis in New York City. This includes people who receive services in New York City (all boroughs)as well. Never any fee involved or insurance required to receive case management services. Call (212) 260-8868 or e-mail network@atdn.org
The Access Project is in the process of updating state by state web pages that provide information about accessing resources throughout the US. It is a key resource for people with HIV/AIDS, case managers and administrators. This information allows us to provide direct education and information, and enables us to assist and advocate for case managers, providers, and the people living with HIV and/or Hepatitis whose needs we exist to meet. The Access Project case management support services are available free of charge to anyone who calls or emails us with a question or problem.
If you have questions, please call us at (212) 260-8868 or e-mail network@atdn.org
