A Safer Place Youth Network (ASPYN), a program of Triangle Community Works (TCW) is a coalition of Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender, Questioning and Allied (LGBTQ&A) youth ages 13 to 23, and adults working together to make the Wake County, Triangle and surrounding areas in North Carolina a safe, healthy, and life affirming place for LGBTQ&A Youth.

Program leaders and volunteers maintain this YAHOO listserv. These individuals are working to move ASPYN activities and programs forward. The YAHOO listserv is used to communicate ASPYN announcements, news and events of interest to Triangle area youth, and to discuss LGBTQ&A youth related issues. While this listserv is open for anyone to join, the content and posted material are moderated. Moderators reserve the right to approve or decline any messages submitted to this listserv.

We advise all LGBTQ&A youth to limit the amount of personal and identifying information submitted to the listserv. We recommend participants not reveal their full names, address, physical location, or telephone numbers in any content that is submitted to the listserv - including signature files or YAHOO profiles. Please remember that there are people who access the Internet with improper motives and should not be trusted.

We also strongly encourage ASPYN youth to talk with each other, exchange ideas, get acquainted, and develop long lasting friendships. We advise you to do this, however, at ASPYN sponsored functions and events rather than on the listserv.
