I am suffering from a severe case of poison ivy and am trying to avoid
steroids as I know they will not help my immune system. I have several
softball size areas on both legs and baseball size areas on both arms
and it appears to be starting on my neck and shoulders.

After having tried everything from calamine lotion to jewelweed soap, I
am just now starting on Dr. Cowan's homeopathic recommendations (WAPF
article at www.westonaprice.org/askdoctor/poisonivy.html).

Unfortunately, after day 1 of following his recommendations, my rash is
worse. This may be coincidental but I'm curious to know if anyone has
tried his suggestions and what type of success you've had with it.

Any other suggestions or success stories would be gladly welcome.
