We have had R.O. water for at least 20 years and have never worried about supplementing minerals nor have even heard of that before. We originally come from Las Vegas and EVERYONE has R.O. water there and *always* has. I've never heard anyone say anything about supplementing minerals.

We are installing a reverse osmosis filter in our kitchen (hubby's working on it right now), and someone told me that we'll now need to supplement our water with minerals. This seems a little crazy since we eat wonderfully and take good supplements. Is this really necessary?
