Amish products [was Re: Interested in obtaining raw milk in Alabama]

To answer your assumption: as a "rule", no, I don't think Amish
products are "better". Many of the ones I've seen, however, have no
preservatives. Many of their dairy products are made from
unpasteurized milk.

If I have a choice, I choose products with fewer preservatives and/or
made with raw milk. That's based on personal experiece and research
about preservatives & raw dairy.

Products made with white flour, refined sugar, etc are something I
avoid, whether baked by an Amish farmer or a commercial bakery.

As far as I know, there are no studies of Amish products vs any other
products. I base my opinion on the ingredients, not who makes the product.

Hey, how about posting your opinion?

Namaste,

Mary J
Citronelle (near Mobile) AL

PS: I was taught that one never assumes, because it makes an a$$ of
you (U) and me.
