My comments: By that statement, I assume you feel Amish stuff is better than commercial foods?
Is there any proof of this?

As you no doubt know, pasteurization kills the beneficial bacteria
found in raw milk. I have been told that making kefir from such milk
restores some of the beneficial bacteria.
I think the list owner is working on a buying group in N Alabama for
actual raw milk.
