Hi Jennifer;
I've had folks tell me that kefir grains can go a long way towards
resurrecting "dead" store-bought milk, but having read what's in
"commercial" milk, I can't make myself drink it.
We have a very small amount of land (about an acre) and already have
chickens and a few sheep (milkable but not in milk right now). We
would like to have a miniature Jersey so we could keep ourselves
supplied with milk. Pat has found a source, we just have to wait for a
heifer to be born!
I'd like to explore the idea of a milk-buying club, and yes, I agree
that Wright's is better than store-bought, but I'd be interested in
finding a raw-milk source and buying from them.
