Hi Amy;
Alabama will be culture shock for you after New Mexico!
Here are the Alabama laws as reported on realmilk.com:
<begin excerpt>
Summary
Raw milk sales for human consumption are illegal. Raw milk sales for
animal consumption are legal if the farmer has obtained a commercial
feed license. There are currently no raw milk producers in the state
with a commercial feed license.
Alabama Administrative Code
Alabama State Board of Health, Alabama Department of Health
Administrative Code Chapter 420-3-16 Production Processing, Handling
or Distribution of Milk, Milk Products, and Frozen Desserts:
"only Grade A pasteurized, ultra-pasteurized or aseptically
processed milk and milk products and approved frozen desserts shall be
sold to the final consumer, or to restaurants, soda fountains, grocery
stores, or similar establishments."

We do not even have the small herd exception for goatmilk that our
friends next door in MS enjoy!
To answer specifically:
1) Raw Milk for Human Consumption: See AL State Board of Health
Administrative Code 420-3-16 (above)
2) Pet Milk: only legal with a commercial feed license. No one in AL
has one, I'm not sure how you'd get one. Contact the State Board of
Health to start figuring it out, I'd guess.
3) Raw Milk Yogurt & Kefir: See answer to #1
Sorry to be the bearer of such tidings...
There is a dairy in Alexander City (between Birmingham and Atlanta)
that pasteurizes only (no homogenizing) to be able to sell milk and
ice cream from their cows.
I do not know of cow shares in AL. Doesn't mean there aren't any, just
that I don't personally know of any.
Someone else will have to chime in with the info on the sprouted
wheat, I have no clue...
