Here's the excerpt of email that I received from my Doctor this morning. I do not understand most of it, so I am sending you as is. Perhaps Gaurav or somebody in the pharmacy field can help decipher this for us. The last three lines was the answe for my question to what he was using to strengthen the nerves as I felt its the nerve coordination that went wrong with my mother's hand.
Dear Gopal:- Carnitor comes in 5 ml vials containing 1000IU of carnitine. My wife is 80 kg so she takes 1600 IU 3x per week. So,depending on your mother's weight,that is the dose. Do you want it shipped from here??It's not a controlled substance.It's expensive:1600IU cost $750.00 Can. It is simple to stimulate the nerves:-you need a TENS unit (not expensive ~200.00$)They should readily be available in India- get the kind that has 3 aatachments to attach to the body.
