Hello all,

For all those PALS who are having trouble with talking and are
facing continous speech slurring, you can try this.

There are a lot of hi tech tools available outside India and
unfortunately nothing in India. Please remember that one should only
buy tried and tested tools/ gadgets for speech assistance.

After reiwing all the options available in the foreign market, I
decided to customise my own speech tool after receiving the basic
framework from my friend Nicki Bhagat.

This is the most basic and cost effective method for People with ALS
to communicate with their care takers and people around.
My father used it effectively for approx 3 months and we understood
almost 95% of things he wanted to communicate.

Please note that this tool can only be used if you can use your
hands or fingers to point at objects.

Name of file1: Board_ Hindi
Name of file 2: Board_English

File type: ppt

Tip: PLease customise this tool with your family names, areas of
your house, people who are important and things that you or your
PALS want to communicate about.

Method: Print both the sides of this board (after customisation) on
A3 size sheets. Cover them up with transparent lamination and you
will have the board ready for use.
