Information Re: Governor's Tax and Accountability Package


The vote on the Governor's Tax and Accountability Package will be held
on September 9, 2003.

The Special Legislative Session to address budgets will begin the next
day, September 10, 2003.

Information regarding the Governor's Tax and Accountability Package can
be accessed on the web by going to the following site:

This is a comprehensive web site which will give you all the information
about the tax package as well as partners, links, presentation
materials, scheduled presentations, how the package will affect you,
etc. The Governor also has information on his web site at
www.governor.state.al.us but you can link to his site from the A Better
