CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

California Healthcare Interpreting Association CHIA Seventh Annual Educational
Conference March 2-3, 2007 Dolce Hayes Mansion Inn San Jose, California



CHIA invites you to submit a presentation proposal for its Annual Educational
Conference. All topics are welcome, although we particularly encourage
presentations relating to:

âEUR¢ Practical skills workshops on interpreting and other linguistic
abilities

âEUR¢ Issues in training and education, including practical skills workshops
for trainers/educators

âEUR¢ Changes in healthcare policy, systems, or organizations that address
the need for more and better language assistance in healthcare.



Submission deadline is Dec. 8, 2006. You may send your proposal electronically
to donschinske@... or mail it to CHIA Conference, One Capitol Mall, Ste.
320, Sacramento, CA 95814. AV needs will be solicited following selection.
Handouts will be requested in time for distribution in conference binders.
