Direct Learn will be hosting an international online conference on
deafness and mental health issues between December 4th and 6th 2006.

For this conference, we invite submissions for presentations linked to
d/Deaf people and mental health.

Due to the international nature of the conference, audiences will come
from different situations and professional backgrounds. We strongly
encourage proposals which bridge these cultural differences and which
will be understandable to delegates from any country. We welcome
presentations in alternative formats (video, PowerPoint, etc.) and in
sign language, provided these are made accessible through transcripts.

(approx. 200 words) and a short biography to the email address above.

* Proposal submission deadline: 1st September, 2006
