FYI. You might want to attend if you can. A good turn out of
supporters of our program would be a very good sign for the incoming
administration.

As you know, Commissioner Sawyer is retiring effective February 1st,
2005. A reception is being planned in her honor which will be held
from 2 - 4 PM on Wednesday, January 26, in the Archives Room of the
State Capitol. Since Commissioner Sawyer continues to announce that
she plans to travel upon her retirement, we thought it would be nice if
we gave her a travel gift certificate as a retirement gift. Therefore,
any monies collected will go to purchase said gift certificate which
will be given to her at her retirement reception. Please forward your
contributions to Commie Carter as she has graciously agreed to be in
