Goals:
As a result of viewing this CD, the viewer will be able to:


1. decide whether interpreting in mental health settings is right
for him/her determine whether he/she is ready

2. establish the foundation needed to get started in interpreting
in mental health settings

interpreter to address all possible situations that might arise in the
mental health setting. Further training and the development of a
relationship with a mentor - a certified interpreter experienced in the
mental health setting or a clinician fluent in English and ASL - are
