Park Hyatt Washington, DC invites you to join an incredible project
to reposition the hotel with its cutting edge design and genuine
hospitality. The hotel reopened in June 2006 after a complete
closure and dramatic $24 million redesign by New York-based visionary
designer Tony Chi. Classic American themes pair with modern,
contemporary style in the "reconcepted" property, welcoming clientele
from around the world to our nation's capital.
The Spa Therapist Coordinator is responsible to develop, maintain,
and co-ordinate a unique spa experience for our guests, whilst
administrating financial planning for the control and success of
ongoing operations. The Spa Therapist Coordinator will professionally
answer inquiries regarding individual and group reservations, and
provide information and guidance to prospective clients to the Spa.
The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing all spa
requests for guests by coordinating and communicating with all
departments, as well as perform professional massage therapy and body
treatments and remain current with the industry. Other
responsibilities include coordinating, and supervising the spa set up
and service in the rooms, overseeing the fitness facility of the
hotel, training of spa staff and other responsibilities as assigned
or required.
Successful candidates will have graduated from an accredited school
of massage and hold a massage license. Ideal candidates also possess
strong leadership, excellent presentation, interpersonal and
communication skills and previous spa operational experience in the
luxury hotel market. Second language is preferred.
