Lead Massage Therapist / Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and energetic massage therapist to serve as our Washington DC Area Manager. Position can grow to supervise all East Coast markets (6 cities, over 50 technicians as of June 1)

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in spa or hospitality management

• Experience in recruiting and/or training

• At least two years’ experience as a massage therapist
• Uncompromising principles for excellence in delivery of service

• A strong sense of responsibility, team work and loyalty and can foster the same in others

• Willingness to take on new responsibilities

• Willingness to travel out of town on a monthly basis

Responsibilities include:

• Recruit, interview and hire Massage Therapists, Estheticians and Nail Technicians
• Conduct new technician orientation on company procedures and policies

• Assist in development of new treatments utilizing our brand partner Fresh, Kerstin Florian and Lather body care products
• Manage schedules of team members
• Organize and manage technician teams for corporate events and spa parties

• Maintain inventory of on-site massage equipment and technician product kits

• Assist with Business Development efforts to create new, lasting relationships with key hotel accounts

• Plan, schedule and supervise promotional events and staff presentations for key hotel accounts
• Maintain and grow relationships with key hotel management and staff

• Up to 10 hour of massage per week

 

Compensation package includes

• Salary up to $45K, depending upon experience
• Annual performance bonus based on regional performance – up to 15% of Salary
• Gratuities averaging $25 on massage sessions

• PPO Health Insurance plan – 75% of premiums paid by Relax & Rejuvenate
