Virginia Board of Nursing are permitted to work as therapeutic massage
therapists in Virginia. Further, they must have local licenses, or
permits, as required by the jurisdiction in which they work. If the
individual wants to work other than as a Therapeutic Massage Therapist,
then other licenses/permits may apply.
