Matrix Massage is looking for a massage therapist to join our staff. We
have an urgent need for a therapist to work on Saturdays in addition to
availability during the week. The candidate must be certified through the
Virginia Board of Nursing (CMT & NCBTMB), have professional insurance
through AMTA or ABMP, and either be registered or willing to register with
the Loudoun County Sheriff's office (the fee is low). Therapist must be
able to provide deep work for clients. Ideally, Matrix is looking for a
massage therapist with a similiar skillset (or willingness to learn) as our
current therapists who combine swedish with deep tissue and NMT for
therapeutic treatment. We are not looking for someone who can do 5, 6, or 7
massages a day spa style. We need a qualified therapist who can help
clients and progress them through pain and muscular dysfunction. Matrix
also has clients coming on a regular basis who aren't looking for deep work
and have new clients requesting relaxation massages; however, we need
someone who is versatile and can provide real therapeutic massage in
addition to relaxing/stress reducing massage techniques. If you are looking
to be challenged and not bored this could be the perfect place for you to
work. Our 1260 square foot 5 room facility is less than one year old,
elegantly appointed, and ADA compliant. Treatment rooms are large enough to
ensure therapists and other practitioners do not harm themselves from space
restricted and improper body mechanics.
