Hi all!
I listed a room for rent last Sunday and I have had a few questions about
the ad so I figured I would pass them on to the group for clarification.
Someone asked if they had their own equipment would the room be cheaper.
Yes, it would. The original price of $775 included use of the equipment.
If someone simply wanted to rent the room and provide all of their own
furnishings the price would go down to $690/month. I realize that still may
sound expensive to some of you but this is a professional building with
access to the Beltway and the rent reflects that.
Would I be willing to let two people share the room? Absolutely! If two
therapists could work out their schedules so as to share the room that would
be terrific. In that instance, the cost to rent the furnished room would be
$387.50 each or, to rent it unfurnished, it would be $345 each.
Would I consider sharing the phone system already in place? I would
consider it as long as it was understood that the phone was to be used for
business calls, not personal calls. However, the option still exists to
install your own phone line(s).
Would I assist the new Massage Therapist(s) in gaining clients? Let me
answer this question by saying that I do have overflow, especially this time
of year. If the therapist(s) had shown me that he or she could handle the
type of work my client(s) required, I would be more than happy to have my
client(s) work with them (I work on alot of triathlete's, marathoners,
chronic pain clients and do little bit of straight relaxation massage). The
responsibility of acquiring and scheduling clients would still fall on the
shoulders of the Massage Therapist.
Let me know if anyone has any other questions and thanks for the inquiries!
