Hello, group -
My 11 year old AS son attacked another child the other day at school. As in any other instance when he did that, the child was getting annoying. My son just moved up to the "Intermediate" school. The elementary school people just saw these things as a delay in his progress. The Intermediate people are getting very upset with it and suggesting that my son go into the Emotional Support classroom for longer periods each day instead of staying mainstream with an aide. My mother is suggesting enrolling him in Valley Forge Military Academy before he ends up in prison. It's not as if it happens every day, but now I'm second guessing all my decisions. HELP!
