SciDev.Net is organising a 7-day workshop for woman communicators who
are (or would like to be) professionally engaged in communicating
HIV/AIDS information to the public through the media (electronic,
print, or broadcast). The workshop coincides with the '4th
International Conference on AIDS INDIA' being held in Chennai, and
participants will attend the conference to gain practical experience.
The workshop will be held at the M. S. Swaminathan Research
Foundation (MSSRF) in Chennai.
We invite applications from women working in South Asia (India,
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nepal) with a good
knowledge of written and spoken English.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for 20 applicants.
