Vacancy Announcement: Advisor Corporate Social Responsibility

We are looking for an Advisor, Corporate Social Responsibility for one of our
clients , a Multi National Company with a large India Operations, which has
many initiatives that can be classified under the banner of corporate social
responsibility. Some of the areas in which the company contributes to society
are:

· Rural Development
· Basic Education
· Care and education for abandoned, special children
· Caring for HIV positive patients
· Reconstruction & relief post natural calamities

The ompany would like to take an integrated approach towards fulfilling its CSR
objectives. This would mean formulating a broad policy in line with the company
corporate purpose and execution of the same across factories, offices and
plantations.

There is an opening for the position of Advisor/Manager, Corporate Social
Responsibility. The key roles of the person would be:

· Helping the company arrive at a broad policy and goals on CSR.

· Advising the company on effective implementation across sites – in terms of
identification of areas, tieup with NGOs and other organisations, arriving at
appropriate result measures and monitoring progress.

· Helping out in actual implementation of the policy in some sites.

Preferred Profile

The candidate should have had grassroots exposure to some area of CSR and should
have a broad idea of the nature of work which can be done. S/he needs to be
passionate towards his/her work and should be able to effective guide the
company.

S/he should be of some stature, someone who can work closely with the board of
directors. S/he should have good managerial skills. Age between 35 – 45 years.
Location could be Bangalore or Delhi. Compensation will match the best in
Industry.
