• Yes, I support. This is because as a democratic country we are rule by the
people and with this each individual should enjoy the life he has got without
any interference. There are lots of homosexual people helping our society a lot
and without them our society can't be as we are today though they are not
accepted by the society.

• Yes, I support the decision as no one can put down forever a segment of the
population that numbers at least 50 million. Democracy can never be a tyranny,
by definition; and homosexuals, like other minorities have to be given the right
to express their opinions in favor of their way of life, whether others agree
with them or not, and so that necessarily means they have to be at least
protected from discrimination.

• Democracy should assure rights and freedom to one and all.

• If court have legalized prostitution then its ok, but legalizing
homosexuality is not at all justified.

• The view point I hold on this controversially sensitive issue facing the
Indian society in particular and the global society in general is crystal clear.
Ever since the world begins the most primary institution comprises of man and
woman through marriage came into existence. Therefore any negative force to this
very institution must be met with by way of preserving and promoting it at all
cost. I think the court's decision seems to be quite hasty devoid of talking all
the pros and cons into account and so it can be challengeable by any other court
in the country.

• No, because Levi20:13- God says If a man lies with a man as one lies with a
woman is detestable, they must be put to death. Why put to death because its
sins will be defiled, and the land vomit out its inhabitants. There are two
types of sins according to Bible, one can commit sin and sure that sin can
punish him and to his children. But another sin which can even defile its land
and to its nation. Even if Delhi court/or any authorities in India legalize
homosexuality/lesbianism but as long as Nagaland stands for Christ we must fight
against this curse so that God will save Nagaland from this curse.

people) love of the same sex or just doing as a lifestyle?

Aren't they created by God or are they from a different planet? This is
completely against the law of human nature. The court should not legalize such
law not only in India (but in every part of the world).

• No, no way, Don't even think about it. To Naga people homosexual is unknown
historically. Don't even talk about it. Homosexual is the most inhuman behavior
or someone say lifestyle. We cannot tolerate homosexual in our society. Every
community should condemn this way of life. This is so disrespectful to humanity.
God didn't create homosexuality. God created man and woman to love, to help each
other and raise family and to honor him. Why would the court decide for this,
The court should never decide what God had decided and planned for us already.
We must condemn this act.

• Its a shame that a matter of personal preference on sexuality has gone
right to the court system for them to decide whether it is legal or not. In the
end, those who prefer sex with their own gender will anyway continue
irrespective of what the court judges. Has this not been the case thus far.
Anyway, on matters such as sexual preference it will be better if it is left to
the individual to exercise his or her freedom.

• From a Christian perspective, it's totally wrong but from the equality
point of view, perhaps they deserve this right. I dont think it was a choice or
decision they made but perhaps it's something else which is far beyond one's
comprehension.

• A good number of Nagas hold the view that from the Naga understanding of
Christianity, homosexuality is wrong. But it is also undeniable that there are
many Nagas who are homosexuals, and as much as we may desist their preference,
they are part of our society who must enjoy equal rights. I wish the issue of
homosexuality was not framed the way it is. The issue is not so much about
homosexuality, it is about whether the society is able to accept and respect
those who may not share your point of view, and in this case, whose sexual
preference radically differs from yours.

• God created men and women and gave them the authority to conduct their life
in accordance to His laws, but He also allowed them to make their own choices.
As much as I disagree with homosexuality, I know that it is also my Christian
duty to love them unconditionally.

I am not the judge, God will be the final judge, and it is God's wish that I
accept all human beings equally. Since Nagaland is for Christ, we must love all
of God's creation unconditionally, even when they have gone against God's
teachings.

• I wonder how God would relate to homosexuals. I feel that God would want us
to relate to homosexuals in the same way he will relate to them. Many Nagas will
react negatively, angrily and even in a condemning way. But I keep asking
myself, how God will react to homosexuals. Rather than us finding our own
rationale and justifications, it will be better for us to understand how God
will relate to homosexuals. I think the answer is already there, it's a message
of love, compassion. Did not God ask us to love our enemies?
