Metronome brings hope to ADHD patients, families
A study of 56 boys aged 6 to 12 years old with ADHD published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy in 2001 found improvements in those children who received IM treatment. Those exposed to 15 hours of the metronome program showed increased attention and motor control and reduced aggressive behavior.
